Privacy policy
Last updated: 20 September 2026 · Website and booking demo. This English version is provided for convenience; the German Datenschutzerklärung is legally binding.
1. Controller
Codillas GmbH, Kolonnenstraße 8, 10827 Berlin, Germany, is the controller responsible for data processing on this website. Send questions about data protection to info@codillas.com or call +49 155 6905 6164.
2. Visiting the website
When you access the website, technically necessary connection data is processed, in particular the IP address, time, requested page, and browser and device information. This allows the website to be delivered and protected. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, available website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Hosting
The website is hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS). The files are stored in Amazon S3 in the AWS Frankfurt region (eu-central-1) and delivered through the globally distributed content delivery network Amazon CloudFront. AWS processes technically necessary connection data in doing so. Because of the global infrastructure, processing may take place outside the EU. You can find information about processing and safeguards in the AWS data privacy FAQ. No sign-in is required to visit this website.
4. Interactive demo
Your choice of studio, service, team member, date and time is processed only in your browser’s memory. The website does not send this selection to a server and does not store it permanently. No names, contact details, payment or health data are requested, and no actual bookings are created.
5. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us, we process your contact details and the content of your request in order to answer it. For pre-contractual or contractual requests, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; for other requests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. An email link opens your own email program; the website itself does not send any message.
6. Cookies, analytics and external content
The page code we provide sets no cookies, uses no local browser storage and contains no advertising or analytics services. Fonts are taken from your system; the logo is delivered with the website. External websites only open when you select a corresponding link.
7. Storage period
Contact requests are deleted once they have been handled, unless statutory retention periods or legitimate reasons require further storage. Technical platform data is subject to the respective operating and security purposes and the providers’ retention rules. Demo bookings, cancellations and filters are only kept in the memory of this session and reset when you reload. No booking data is sent to a server.
8. Your rights
Under the statutory conditions, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. To exercise your rights, write to info@codillas.com. Our demo does not involve automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
9. Changes
If features or data processing are added, we will update this notice accordingly. This notice covers the presentation website with its local demo described here.
